Steven Younger, the keyboard and organ maestro of Mo'lasses, infuses every performance with seasoned expertise and undeniable charisma. Renowned for his refined groove sensibility and dedication to the pocket, Steven's quick wit and sharp prowess ensure that every Mo'lasses show is a guaranteed good time. Steve Moore, a Bay Area funk, soul, and jam scene secret weapon of groove, wields his bass guitar with a melodic, driving, improvisational finesse that belies the funky underground legend status he holds among those in the know. A dynamic bass player who has amassed over 1,000 gigs through the years, Steve’s magnetic stage presence and infectious charisma have made him the backbone of countless ensembles including The Buzz, Power Glide, Moore Bros, D'Amphibians, and Dredgetown. Born into a musical legacy, Steve’s a published artist with five albums under The Moore Brothers and D'Amphibians. With unparalleled energy and talent, Steve can ‘Slip up on Ya’, “make it funky now”, and take it to the bridge all while down on one knee.
Baritone, Tenor, and Alto Sax, Wind Synth, Vocals
For over 30 years, Michael Myers has been a staple in the Bay Area's jam and funk scene, lending his fat tenor sax sound to a myriad of groups such as Yeti, Tree o' Frogs, Freaktet, Funky Beaulah, and Dredgetown. As a founding member of Bayern Maiden, a German Oktoberfest band, Michael adds a unique twist to the music scene with his fusion of Bavarian polka and rock. With his mastery of the baritone, tenor, and alto saxophones, Michael's performances are known for their deep improvisations and tight horn lines. His innovative use of the wind synth adds a modern edge to his sound, creating layers of texture and ambiance. Beyond his instrumental prowess, Michael surprises audiences with his powerful vocals. Gabe Ford is no stranger to the rhythm of life, born into a musical dynasty with his father, Patrick, and uncle, Robben Ford, paving his way in the industry.
